Youth Theatre Company Program

ACT I Academy is proud to offer a Youth Theatre Program for young aspiring performers ages 6-18. This program is for young artists looking to train in a pre-professional program. We have a range of classes that focus on the techniques needed for Musical Theatre as well as multiple performance opportunities.

Fall Registration has ended, but you can sign up for the class you’d like to be added to the waitlist for to start in January.

Program Focus Descriptions

Acting Theatre Focus: This track is for aspiring actors who want to focus primarily on skill of acting. The 3 required classes for this track are 2 different acting technique classes such as acting foundations, improvisation and acting for film and 1 dance class to further their foundation of onstage movement.

Musical Theatre Focus: This track is for aspiring performers who want to focus on the skills needed for Musical Theatre. The 3 required classes for this track are 1 music class, 1 acting class and 1 dance class.

Dual Focus: This track combines both the acting and musical theatre emphasis for aspiring young performers. The 4 required classes for this track are 2 acting classes, 1 music class and 1 dance class.
